Getting to the city centre from Vienna Schwechat Airport
Take the CAT (City Airport Train) to the City Air Terminal at Wien Mitte
or
the Schnellbahn S7 to Wien Mitte
Then take metro Line U3 and get off at Herrengasse.
It’s a five-minute walk from Herrengasse station: Take the exit for “Herrengasse”. In Wallnerstraße, turn left and continue straight on to Strauchgasse, then turn right until you come to Freyung 6a.
You can also take the AIRPORT BUS to the city centre:
Flughafenbus bis Morzinplatz
From there, you can either walk 10 to 15 minutes to the Freyung (via Marc Aurel-Straße – Judenplatz – Am Hof) or take the tram Line 1 to Schottentor.
From Schottentor: Take the Schottengasse exit and continue straight on along Schottengasse until you come to the Freyung. Walk past the Schottenkirche until you reach the “Apotheke” (pharmacy) building; the entrance is located at Freyung 6a.
